Vince came from Italy to Michigan as a young man, starting D&G
Cement in 1967. By 1993 he had founded D&G Building Company to
bring his family’s cherished values of integrity, reliability, and
hard work to the commercial development industry. Before long, his son
Nino, daughter Toni, and son-in-law John had joined the business as well.
A true visionary, Vince spearheaded Southeastern Michigan’s
ambitious new "aerotropolis," which transformed the entire
landscape around Detroit Metropolitan Airport and D&G’s Romulus
headquarters. Despite the region’s many economic ups and downs, Vince
has thrived, creating a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and more
than a million square feet of managed property. Through it all, Vince
DiDomenico has added a large measure of heart to the brick and mortar
of Southeastern Michigan’s construction industry.
