While with 3D/I and Parsons, Aliaga was responsible for developing preliminary designs and concepts. He also prepared graphic material for architectural presentations and developed design solutions during the production phase of the projects. Aliaga has ample experience in Adaptive Re-use, Mixed Use Developments and Hospitality.Ignacio has international design experience and has designed stellar projects. He studied architecture in Santiago, Chile, continued his studies in Europe and received his Masters in Architecture in Los Angeles, California. He developed his own practice and served as Planning Commissioner for the City of Lawndale. In 1992 Ignacio was hired to design a new compound for a petroleum company in Aden, Yemen. Since 1995 he worked for 3D/International, which eventually became part of Parsons. He was one of the designers for well-known Hotel Valencia in San Antonio, Texas and Hotel Valencia in San Jose, California.
Ignacio also led the team that won the design competition of a Chapel for the University Health System Foundation in San Antonio, Texas. He has done master planning for US Air Force, several universities, retail and industrial business parks in USA and Mexico. Ignacio was an adjunct professor of Design I for the University of Texas San Antonio. He has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2003.

Raul studied at the University of Puerto Rico, a school with a strong emphasis on passive means of adapting to the environment. He worked in the Archives of Architecture and Construction during his Master’s studies, learning first hand research and conservation techniques. In Puerto Rico he worked in master planning and multi-family projects. In Chile he had the opportunity to participate on the preservation plan for the historic elevators of the city of Valparaiso with CONPALChile as part of the US ICOMOS Summer Internship Program. In New Jersey he worked with the prestigious firm of Watson & Henry Associates, dedicated fully to historic preservation. He worked on the restoration of the David Sheppard House (circa 1792) to become the University of Rutgers Estuarine Research Center. As part of 3D/International and Parsons, Raul had the opportunity to work on projects in England, South Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia. In addition, Raul was part of the design team of the Hotel Valencia (San Antonio and San Jose), Marriott Townplace on Houston St (San Antonio, TX) and Avondale Sheraton (Avondale, AZ). He was an adjunct professor of Design III for the University of Texas at San Antonio.
