Not long ago, Cody Rodgers, the owner of Junk King Fort Worth, had a bird's eye view of the Metroplex from the captain's seat of a Southwest Airlines 737. Now, he has a different view of the town he currently calls home - from the seat of his Isuzu dump truck! After leaving the airline industry, Cody and his family moved to Africa to do humanitarian work. There he saw first hand the power of empowering others to reach their goals and the amount of good that can come from people working side-by-side.
Now back in the US, due to health concerns for their youngest child, Cody and his wife continue their mission to help others. Part of the philosophy at Junk King Fort Worth is simply that people are important. This is lived out through actively hiring and investing in employees who need a second chance in life as well as going the extra mile for their customers.
Because of Junk King's great business model, their commitment to the community and their heart to serve those in need, Cody and his wife have managed to find a happy balance between work, life and most importantly, family.
