Andy Meyers serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Shangri-La Construction. As CEO, Andy focuses his attention to business development, overall strategy and strategic partnerships with like-minded developers and construction partners. Under Andy’s direction and leadership, Shangri-La Construction has achieved many firsts within the sustainable construction industry including completing the first LEED Platinum certified private aviation hangar in the world.
Andrew also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Shangri-La Industries (SLI), a diversified private operating platform with primary interests in opportunistic private equity investments, multi-media and general contracting. SLI is particularly committed to the advancement and implementation of green technologies and initiatives ranging from the production of renewable energy to sustainable construction and real estate development.
SLI works closely with the William J. Clinton Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative and Clinton Climate Initiative, each founded by former United States President Bill Clinton. President Clinton serves as a strategic advisor to Shangri-La. The Company is also actively involved with the United States Green Building Council.
Andrew graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As an accomplished student athlete in UCLA’s prestigious football program, he was honored as a two-time All-PAC 10 Guard, Third Team All-American, Academic All-PAC 10 and Academic All-District. Andrew also played for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League.
