Scope Of Work
ARGO designed and installed a SCADA/EMCS system at Sugar Grove Research Station (SGRS), which was operated and maintained by the Navy, with future plans to mandate turning over operation control of the upper base to the Agency. SGRS had a Building Automation System (BAS) installed in Building 201. The site required local and remote SCADA/EMCS monitoring of the existing major mechanical and electrical systems serving Building 201. The equipment (Both old and new) was not being monitored outside of SRGS, which does not meet FEDS guidelines and industry best practices. The new system connected to the existing BAS. Existing critical HVAC and electrical systems serving Building 301 vary in age and condition. Without a centralized monitoring system, there is a higher risk of component failure and components not receiving urgent attention when needed.
