Cindy Catalano's Bio
Education:
Cindy is an integral part in the leadership role at the church her and Richard Catalano Sr., oversee. Cindy has also taken beginner level Spanish courses. Currently she serves on the PenBay Ministries board of directors. This community outreach group seeks to provide housing for inmates recently released from incarceration as well as provide a network support system for women recovering from substance abuse.
Professional Experience:
Cindy ran a local food-bank as a community outreach program for a two year time period. The base of operation was Grace Church, Rockland Maine. Cindy has also volunteered for many school activities while she was a full time homemaker. During this time she also led the Sunday school program at Grace Church which reached out to disadvantaged youth in the local area. She is also a board member of Pen Bay Ministries, a non-profit organization created to serve men, women, and children in need of immediate housing and agency services.
She is also actively involved in managing the tenants, lease agreements, property maintenance and advertising for all of Catalano's rental properties.
Cindy also works as an office assistant for the construction company. Her current responsibilities include data entry, reconciling accounts, managing customer service inquiries, filing, and general office maintenance.
Profile:
Cindy is the corporate secretary. She is an integral member of the corporation and is actively involved in the long term business strategizing. Prior to her direct involvement with Catalano's Construction, Inc, Cindy was a full time homemaker raising six children, all the while managing the responsibilities of running a household for eight people.
Thomas F Catalano's Bio
Education
Thomas's educational background began at Coastal Christian High School, and continued through the University of Maine, where he took accredited courses on accounting and business management. In conjunction with his years of hands on experience within the realm of commercial and residential construction, Thomas has also completed continuing education courses on project estimating, a plethora of specific product installation procedures, safety training, and general computer and business practices. Thomas continues to enjoy reading material on the operations of small businesses, material on architectural design and woodworking, and new "green" energy efficient design and construction.
Although not actively licensed, Thomas has taken the general requirements for his Real Estate Agent's license in the State of Maine.
Registrations
Thomas is certified in the OSHA approved safety workshops. He is also an active participant in a non-profit organization that focuses on providing housing for orphanages in Tanzania, Africa. He has dedicated personal time, labor, and finances in traveling to Tanzania.

Profile
Thomas is an integral part of the management staff and general oversite of Catalano's Construction Inc. As well as managing the operations of the company, his daily responsibilities include oversite of staff on all estimating and project management. Thomas has continued to meet clients demands of meeting budgetary goals, dealing with scheduling deadlines, managing quality control, and maintaining good business relationships with our vendors, architects, and owners.
Thomas began his career working as a general carpenter. Thomas worked from 1995-2001 in the field gaining in-the-field experience in framing, finish carpentry, roofing, siding, and all other aspects of residential construction. From 1999 to 2001, Thomas was the jobsite foreman, which included on-the-job supervision of all personnel employed by Catalano's and all of its subcontractors. During this time he was responsible to insure that all carpentry was of utmost quality on each job. He was also responsible for the enforcement of safety precautions and meeting OSHA requirements.

Michael is responsible to ensure that all carpentry is of utmost quality on each job. He is certified in multiple OSHA safety training courses. With this certification, he is responsible to enforce all safety precautions on the jobsite. Michael is responsible for material inventory, material ordering, tool inventory, personnel management, subcontractor oversight, controlled scheduling of critical path items, and all other superintendent duties.
Michael is an active participant in a non-profit organization that focuses on providing housing for orphanages in Tanzania, Africa. He has dedicated personal time, labor, travel, and finances for this organization in Tanzania, Africa.

Averyl's educational background is in Psychology. In 2002 she graduated from the University of Southern Maine, Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2003 she graduated with a M.A. degree in Psychology from Boston University, Cum Laude.
Averyl is a licensed Real Estate Associate Broker in the State of Maine.
Averyl is also a certified personal trainer with American Fitness and Aerobics Association.

While studying at Boston University she worked on a collaborative research project studying psychoneuroimmunology under the guidance of her graduate mentor, Majed Ashey and Dr. Kathleen Malley-Morrison, in conjunction with Harvard University.
Also while studying at Boston University; she worked under the guidance of Dr. Sarah Mattis as a research assistant studying childhood anxiety in Dr. David Barlow's lab facility, the Center for Anxiety Related Disorders.
During her undergraduate training Averyl worked as a paid research assistant for Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine under Dr. William Cook's supervision in conjunction with a community mental health outreach program providing support for dually diagnosed individuals.
During her tenure with Catalano's Construction, Inc, Averyl has overseen property acquisition transactions, development of real estate, land development, and speculation construction.

Averyl is currently the office manager and corporate treasurer. Averyl has been with the company since its inception and has played various roles in the company's continued growth. Since 1995, Averyl has acted as office manager both full and part time. Her major role within the corporation is to oversee all financial interests including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, creating annual budgets, tax preparation, financial investments, job cost analysis, payroll, managing employee benefits/insurances, and tracking overhead costs. Not only has Averyl worked as a project manager on several projects, but also she is also intimately involved in the bidding process. Averyl gained invaluable experience in the summer of 2003 acting as the General Sales Manager. Averyl has implemented policies and procedures from the inception of the corporation that have enabled the company to grow exponentially.
