James Dixon's Bio
James, “Jim,” Dixon, president and CEO of Arlington Properties, leads the integration efforts between the development, construction services and property management divisions of Arlington Properties. Jim’s deep experience in the industry and resourceful approach provides experienced oversight into all facets of Arlington’s work. His comprehensive understanding of Arlington Properties and Arlington Construction Services allows him to effectively integrate abilities and services into successful developments, investments, and third party property management and construction services.
CAREER EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Jim joined Arlington Properties in 1998 as a development associate and was named vice president of development in 2001. In 2008, he was appointed executive vice president and has served as President of Arlington Properties and Vice Chairman of Arlington Construction Services since 2011.
EDUCATION
Jim received his Masters of Public and Private Management from Birmingham-Southern College and his Bachelor of Arts in American history from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Jim has served on the Community Board of Operation New Birmingham, Alys Stephens Young Patrons Board, Birmingham Museum of Art Corporate Council and Compass Bank Young Executive’s Board. He is an alumnus of the 2009 class of Leadership Birmingham, a member of the United Way’s Tocqueville Society, and serves on the Highlands School Foundation Board of Trustees, where he served as President from 2014-2016.
Jennifer R. Renshaw's Bio
Jennifer is the Chief Financial Officer of Arlington Properties and leads the company’s accounting and finance functions. She has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience including strategic planning, operational management and systems design.
Jennifer’s real estate experience includes management of fund investment entities and coordinating the placement of debt for acquired assets and properties under development. She has also been responsible implementing financial accounting platforms to support the deployment of capital and real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Arlington Properties, Jennifer was the CFO for Peachtree Hotel Group where she led the financial accounting for debt and equity funds active in the investment of hotel properties throughout the United States. Jennifer also previously served as CFO for Weeks Robinson Properties, a real estate investment firm based in Atlanta active in the acquisition and development of industrial assets. Jennifer also served as Senior Director of Finance at Westwind Capital Partners where she was involved in the acquisition of 15 class A office buildings totaling $2.9 billion. She began her career as a senior auditor with Ernst & Young.
Jennifer has a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Tammy M. Wyble's Bio
Tammy M. Wyble, president of Arlington Properties’ Property Management Division, has more than 25 years of experience working in property management that translates into comprehensive and customized management experience bringing a property’s vision to life. As president, Tammy is responsible for the day to day operations of the Property Management division by overseeing the off-site team that supports each property Arlington Properties manages, including the regional vice president; regional manager, area managers, director of affordable housing, director of marketing and training, director of operations, director of human resources and the regional service managers. In addition, she approves budgets for properties and manages the financial review process on each individual asset in conjunction with the asset’s off-side supervisor.
Her in-depth knowledge working with financial analysis, market analysis, budget preparations, due diligence, transition at takeover and at sale, developing policies and process improvements translates into operational transparencies and efficiencies, which optimizes client satisfaction.
CAREER EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Prior to joining Arlington Properties, Tammy worked with Lincoln Properties and Summit Properties. She then served as regional manager of 2400 units in eight states at Schaedle Worthington Hyde Properties. From there, Tammy spent four years with ZOM Residential Service as a regional manager managing six portfolios in Atlanta. In these roles, Tammy oversaw multifamily portfolios in markets such as Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Florida, South Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia and Texas.
Tammy joined Arlington Properties as a regional manager in 2006 and was promoted to regional vice president in 2010. In this role she managed 24 different properties, an equivalent of 4,000 units, in nine different states. Since 2012, she has served as the president of Arlington Properties’ Property Management Division.

Tammy attended the University of Texas.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Tammy is a board member of the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association (GBAA) and has served on its philanthropy committee since 2014. She was awarded the GBAA’s Presidential Leadership Award in 2014.

David G. Ellis's Bio
Dave Ellis, executive vice president of development, oversees the sourcing and management of new development opportunities for Arlington Properties. In addition to identifying and analyzing new development and investment opportunities, Dave is responsible for all aspects of real estate development and management for newly developed properties, including entitlements, design, finance, construction, sales, investor relations, marketing and asset management.
CAREER EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Dave began his career as a management associate at AmSouth Bank, where he progressed to the role of credit analyst for the bank’s commercial real estate department, and then proceeded to become relationship manager and assistant vice president of AmSouth Bank’s commercial real estate department. After his time at AmSouth, Dave served as the development manager for the Pivotal Group where he completed more than $45 million in new real estate projects over an 18 month period. He has served as vice president of Arlington Properties’ development division since 2007.
EDUCATION
Dave received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Alabama and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Birmingham-Southern College.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Dave is originally from Tuscaloosa, AL and enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and three children. He currently serves on the administrative board at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mark Stuermann's Bio
Mark Stuermann, executive vice president of Arlington Properties’ Development division, is responsible for overseeing the full suite of development activities from identifying new markets, parcels of land and acquisition properties to securing development funding and managing the development and construction process. In this role, Mark handles the creation of a property’s development program and team as well as manages the leasing and marketing aspects for a development. He also manages assets once leased, the disposition of assets, the creation of various financial analysis reports and property floor plans.
Mark’s experience creating sustainable developments translates into his instinctive understanding of the necessities required to make an undeveloped property ideal for future development. From determining which submarket is ideal or which side of a street is more advantageous, Mark’s ability to conceptualize parcels of land into a thriving community positions him with a panoramic perspective of a development. His creative approach and resourceful efficiency allows him to turn API’s communities’ operating results into meaningful and positive outcomes. Mark has cultivated long-standing partnerships with the communities in which Arlington operates and the best qualified subcontractors and vendors in the industry to give our partners the greatest return on their investments.
CAREER EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Prior to joining Arlington Properties, Mark served as an assistant development manager for Griffin Park, LLC in Greenville, South Carolina. After his time at Griffin Park, he worked for a few years with a real estate developer and with a joint partnership that raised a distressed asset fund to bulk buy foreclosed houses.
Mark joined Arlington Properties in 2010 as an assistant development manager, during which he managed the development process and identified new developments. In 2011, Mark was named vice president of development.
EDUCATION
Mark received his Master of Real Estate Development and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Clemson University.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Mark is a member of United Way Tocqueville Society and Covenant Presbyterian Church. In 2011, he served on Children’s of Alabama’s Committee for Future.
William Morris, Jr's Bio
As Vice President of Development, William Morris, Jr. will be responsible for all aspects of real estate development, including market and site selection, entitlements, design, finance, investor relations, and asset management. He has worked with Arlington since 2015 as a development associate.
Morris has an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and Master’s degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He is a supporter of the United Way of Central Alabama, spearheading Arlington’s internal United Way Pacesetter Campaign in 2017.
