Nugent Designs, Inc.

Nugent Designs, Inc. (ND), is a full-service interior design company located in New York, NY. The company was founded by Alma Nugent, the only African American to have served as president of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New York Metro Chapter. Her term of service was from 2003 to 2004.

Nugent Designs has an impressive portfolio that has expanded to healthcare, commercial, and residential design. Project include community health centers, doctors offices, corporate offices, religious institutions, a public library, a corporate jet, art galleries, and numerous residences. All of the public spaces, kitchens, and bathrooms in Graceline Court Condominiums, a sixteen-story luxury condominium apartment building that is located at 106 West 116th St. in Harlem were designed by the firm.
