Scope Of Work
The First National Bank of Johnson was in 1906 and moved into a newly constructed building on main street in Johnson, Nebraska in 1908. They added office space and another vault in 1968 followed by another office space addition in 1983 to bring them to their current facilities.
This project renovated and restored the majority of that space. Updates on finishes and fixtures included flooring, paint, ceilings, casework, doors, trim, plumbing fixtures, and lights. New HVAC was installed as well. The exterior facade was rehabbed and all exterior windows were replaced. A new canopy entrance was installed on the north side of the building. A new roof membrane, along with gutter and downspout were also part of the project.
The wall space was modified slightly to include an ADA restroom, a larger conference room, and additional offices. The drop ceiling in the bank lobby was removed to expose the already existing tin ceiling, and the remainder of the lobby was refurbished to look more like its original historic design.
