Project Managers have cell phones, and laptop computers designed to instantly link them with site crews, vendors, DBS executives and most importantly - the customer.
On the job site, superintendents have cell phones, two-way radios, laptop computers and fax machines for everyone on staff. In fact, a separate dedicated phone line is reserved at each job site exclusively for modem and fax use. A jobsite clerk is typically assigned to each project to assist the superintendents.
DBS has at its disposal a fleet of private aircraft ready to deliver upper management to job sites within 2 hours notice. All job sites are visited each week by a project manager and every other week by company officers.
