Dave is owner | operator at Wisconsin Commercial Roofing. WCR solely focuses on commercial / industrial roofing in order to ensure top level expertise and outcomes for property owners & managers. Leading up to Wisconsin Commercial Roofing, Dave started Over the Top Roofing in 1999 and merged with Rick Ihnen's construction company in 2007. At that time, Dave took the Vice President role on every day-to-day business transactions, dealing with new customers and clients.
Previous Experience / Work
- Dave was trained as a tool and die maker and worked 7 years at Plas-Tec Tool & Dienamics.
- While Dave was working in the tool and die trade, he opened Adrianos pizza pickup and delivery in Menomonee Falls.
- Dave then invested in a Big Apple Bagels franchise, owning 3 locations.
- When Dave was unable to find a reliable contractor to do work on his home, he decided to become the contractor he always wanted to hire and started Over the Top Roofing.

Prior to Wisconsin Commercial Roofing, James started working with Dave Mattheis in the role of sales executive for Over the Top Roofing in April of 2013
Previous Experience
James earned his 4 year degree at Carroll College and received a Bachelor of Science of Business in spring of 2006.
He worked as a project consultant for a smaller building company focusing on specific improvements around building envelope on homes.
He received extensive management and outside consulting training through Certified Contractors Network out of Pennsylvania.
He worked as an outside sales representative for a large commercial based company.
He took over commercial account management and became the lead outside sales representative to help establish a full time commercial division to grow the company.

Establish relationships and sales through a professional consultation with our clients.
Refine sales and organizational skills through training and networking with industry professionals.
Accountable for project management and follow-up of current and past clients and or accounts.
Develop client focused solutions using the necessary industry specifications and manufacturers regulations.
Tailor appropriate specifications to meet customer’s wants and needs and create proposals to present our recommendations.
