Brooks McDonald's Bio
Brooks came up through the ranks as a laborer in high end residential construction. He attended Coastal Georgia Community College. His work then turned to missions overseas. After serving two years as a missionary in the Philippines, Brooks returned to Georgia and resumed his career in the construction industry. He has ten years of as a Project Manager with M.D. McDonald Construction including commercial, government, medical, industrial and high end residential projects. He has extensive experience in estimating, sales, marketing, customer , supervision and project management. He is certified by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, completed the 30 Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Program, certified in First Aid and CPR, and holds an American Hospital Association (AHA) Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) rating, an ASHE Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC), and a US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQMC) course completion certificate.

In 1991, he formed RGCC of Georgia (Brunswick, Georgia) where he served as President for two years. Projects included: commercial projects and custom homes. Work in excess of $2,000,000. In 1992, Mr. McDonald formed M.D. McDonald Construction Company, based in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Projects include Health Care Facilities (new and renovations), commercial and retail facilities and large custom homes. Work in excess of $80,000,000. Certifications include completion of the Construction Quality Management for Contractors course – US Army Corps of Engineers, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) in Healthcare Construction, completed the 30 Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Program, and certified in CPR and First Aid.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Georgia with an emphasis in Business and has been involved in commercial and residential construction industry for over seven years. Shep has extensive experience in sales, marketing, estimating, construction management and project management. He attended twelve (12) Manufacturer training schools as a Factory Representative. Completed the 30 hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Program, Certified in CPR and First Aid, and holds the US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQMC) course completion certificate and an ASHE Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC).
