Andrew Disabatino's Bio
Andrew DiSabatino is the man with the plan. As vice president of EDiS and a member of the fifth generation of ownership, Andrew is usually the one who knows the answers, or knows how to find them. Affectionately known as “A3” since he is the third Andrew DiSabatino to work at EDiS, his tenure at the company began in 2001 while he was attending The Pennsylvania State University obtaining his degree in Civil Engineering. He joined the EDiS estimating department full-time upon graduation in 2005, moving up the ranks to project manager and now as a member of the executive team. In addition to his leadership on the project management side, Andrew manages the information technology and infrastructure needs of the company. He is also the principal in charge of our BIM/VDC division, working with the team to offer our clients the newest time and cost saving technology solutions. Andrew is the company’s port in the technology storm, vetting though new opportunities to advance the technological tools that EDiS offers its employees and its customers.

Brian DiSabatino's Bio
Brian graduated from James Madison University and has been working with EDiS since 1987. He has worked in multiple areas of the company including cost estimating, accounting and systems development, business development, project management and operations management. Brian has been a co-founder of financial institutions, served in advisory roles for multi-national corporations, and is well versed in translating business strategy into facility design and construction. He also serves on many local, international, non-profit and construction industry boards including being a Director of the Delaware Contractors Association. In his spare time, he enjoys fly-fishing, cooking and history. Brian is a co-founder of our exciting development, Whitehall. This 30-year, 1,000-acre project aims to create a pedestrian-based town that is beneficial for the resident, community and the future of land planning in Delaware.
Christian Mccone's Bio
In 2001, after serving as the Resident Engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Dover Air Force Base, Chris joined EDiS as a project manager. He gained extensive experience with the military with dormitory, lodging, medical, industrial, and commercial facility construction from initial design through occupancy including budgeting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration. Chris brought with him an extraordinary ability to make sense of the chaos, bring order and organization, and run a process-driven project that leads to successful outcomes for our clients. It was these abilities, along with his friendly demeanor, contagious smile, and can-do attitude, that has helped Chris rise to the position of Operations Manager for EDiS.
Now retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel after 30 years of dedicated service, Chris is still serving his community by working on impactful projects that improve quality of life for those that will use them.

Jerry Doherty's Bio
If you are going into battle, Jerry Doherty is the one you want in the trenches beside you.
It is safe to say that there is not much at EDiS Company, or in the construction business, that Jerry Doherty has not mastered. In his more than 30 years with the company, Jerry has served as Chief Estimator, Vice President & Operations Manager, and now President. Since 1990, Jerry has been bringing EDiS customers his sharp intellect, detail-oriented approach, and no-nonsense brand of service. It is also safe to say that few people care more about our EDiS family, our projects, and the success of our clients than Jerry.
Having served in roles from estimating through operations, Jerry has the experience to understand what it takes to see a project through from early conception to final occupancy and beyond. His keen understanding of our industry allows him to see beyond the noise of the daily operations and focus on the bigger systems at play. Jerry is a difference maker on every project he touches, and as president, he lends his expertise to the majority of EDiS projects. From project estimating and planning, management during the design phase, involvement during construction, and follow up during owner occupancy and the warranty period, you can find Jerry leading from behind his teams, making sure that focus remains on the most important thing at all times – our customer.

Marianne Skipski's Bio
When a member of the EDiS team needs something done and does not know where to start, they will often find themselves outside of Marianne Skipski’s door. Marianne Skipski has been a vital member of the EDiS Family since 1980. She is the Corporate Secretary for Crystal Holdings, Inc. (EDiS’ parent company) and all its entities. On a daily basis, Marianne manages everything from EDiS’ administrative support staff, to employee benefits, to all matters involving insurance, builders risk, and bonding.
Michael Miller's Bio
The team at EDiS affectionately calls Mike Miller “The Wizard” because he always seems to have the answers they need. Since joining EDiS in 1996, Mike has been relied on to have the right answers on guiding the company’s financial interests. He oversees the company’s financial activities, including the corporate insurance program. Over the years, Mike’s expertise has continuously enhanced the proficiency of EDiS’ accounting department. From accounts billable to payable and project accounting, Mike has instituted programs and protocols that have lead to increased effectiveness for our clients and internal teams. Mike’s meticulous and organized nature serves him well in the world of accounting, but the fact that he dishes up results with a little sarcasm and a great sense of humor thrown in makes him a pleasure to work with.

Michael Freda's Bio
Mike Freda is a problem solver. He is the guy you want with you in a crisis – Mike is calm, cool, and collected. Under all that calm, though, is an engineer’s mind, one that is meticulous and works with extraordinary attention to detail. Mike is always thinking. He has a passion for building and it comes through on each project he works on, no matter the project type. Since 1989, Mike has used that passion to build some of EDiS’ most complex projects. His experience is extraordinarily diverse; he has built libraries, office buildings, parking garages, educational buildings, community, recreation, and healthcare projects as well as having specific expertise at navigating clients needs in the industrial and warehousing sectors. In addition to his role as Operations Manager, Mike serves as Vice President of EDiS Building Systems (EBS) Solutions, the EDiS pre-engineering metal building division. Working closely with both the EDiS and EBS teams, Mike looks for opportunities to integrate pre-engineered solutions to bring our clients savings in both time and money. Richard P. DiSabatino, Jr.'s Bio
Richard DiSabatino, a graduate of the University of Delaware, has been with EDiS since 1980. He is currently Executive Vice President and Director of Field Operations, Quality Assurance/Control and Safety. Rick and his team are responsible for building the highest level of safety and quality into each EDiS project. Safe, quality projects require continuous education and committed teamwork. Rick’s leadership assures these key elements are constantly at the forefront of project planning and employee development. Rick is also responsible for leading our initiative in the Kent and Sussex County markets.
Community involvement is very important to Rick. He currently serves on the Board of the Mary Campbell Center after serving two years as Board Chair, serves on the Board of Trustees of Salesianum School, and is on the board of Catholic Charities and the Delaware Safety Council. When not hard at work, Rick enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children, traveling and visiting the Delaware beaches.

Paul Ignudo's Bio
As Chief Estimator, Paul is responsible for managing all aspects of estimating from initial inception through construction. Duties include developing various cost studies such as value engineering reports and cash flow analysis, preparing value engineering options and alternative means of construction that result in cost savings. Additionally, Paul is responsible for completing constructability reviews of project documents during the design phase. Paul has been with EDiS full-time since 1994 and has served as both a project manager and estimator. In his role as a Wilmington City Councilman, Paul learned to successfully navigate various governmental agencies, and worked closely with community and business groups to find common ground. He applies these skills to each EDiS project, helping to work with the stakeholders to gain and share knowledge, achieve consensus, and bring about a successful outcome.

Adam Disabatino's Bio
Although he has been immersed in the world of construction for most of his life, Adam makes it his mission to learn all he can about the business, the industry, and the companies we work with. He does all of this with one goal in mind, to guide our projects to the best possible outcomes. Adam joined EDiS in 2010, and since then he has worked both the field and the office, transitioning from the estimating department to project management. He has become known for his keen eye for attention to detail, and his hard line on safety and quality. Adam has earned the respect of his peers at EDiS, as well as that of our trade partners in the field. Keep an eye out for great things to come from Adam, and for his future with EDiS!

Chuck Aungst's Bio
Charles “Chuck” Aungst is responsible for the management and administration of EDiS Building Systems (EBS) Solutions, the EDiS Butler Manufacturing division. Chuck helps our customers figure out if a pre-engineered metal building solution is a good fit for their project, and if so, how to maximize savings impact on budget and schedule. With an eye for solving complex engineering challenges, Chuck provides design coordination, budget estimating, and value engineering in the pre-construction phase for projects involving a Butler solution. Before joining EDiS, Chuck was a field foreman for a structural steel fabricator and spent 20 years with Butler Manufacturing Company in roles including manufacturing, design, and project management.

Gregg Clark's Bio
Gregg came to EDiS in 2011 with more than 25 years in the industry. After 10 years as a superintendent and then senior superintendent, it became clear that his talents best served our team members and clients as a leader in the field. Gregg was promoted to Director of Field Operations, and was charged with the oversight of EDiS project superintendents. His role – to lead, develop, and mentor team members to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and execution are achieved on each and every project. Gregg is the EDiS Ambassador of Process; he brings our signature process and protocols to the field on each job, making sure we are consistent in our applications of the procedures that make us extraordinary. Gregg provides his expertise in logistics, job sequencing, coordinating contractors, and maintaining quality standards in the field to major projects, and serves as an extra set of eyes and hands to some of the younger superintendents.
Jim Ruggiero's Bio
Jim is a guy who is serious about safety. He started his construction career as a steel worker, and joined EDiS Company in 2011 after a successful career as an OSHA Safety Consultant with the State of Delaware. As the Director of Safety & Health, Jim works with the EDiS project teams and subcontractors to review project specific requirements prior to work beginning on each and every job. He makes regular job site visits to review safety and health conditions, working closely with the field teams to keep the EDiS job sites safe. Jim has been in the construction industry since 1987 with a focus on safety and health since 1994.

Martha White has spent the last 25 years making EDiS interiors projects look easy. From complex occupied sites, to phased construction plans, to fit-outs and refreshes of large spaces and small, Martha has mastered it all. She is a client advocate that will represent their interests as her own, and she protects the budget and schedule with a tenacity rarely found. Whether working with owners, owner’s reps, designers, or trade contractors, Martha’s meticulous attention to every detail has saved hundreds of hours and dollars both before and during construction. Her ability to see the full system of a job and make decisions based on the impacts to all trades, both the obvious and the not so obvious, is one of many things that sets her apart. Rob Belfiore's Bio
Rob has been with EDiS since 1997, when he started as an intern while he was a student at The Pennsylvania State University. Rob has served as Chief Estimator since October 2009, leading the team responsible for managing design build projects, construction management budgets, pre-construction and general contract bidding. During that time, Rob also developed important business opportunities for the company and helped grow our EDiS BIM Services division. In November 2017, Rob was named Vice President of Pre-Construction Planning & Strategic Growth, a position that has him focusing on a renewed emphasis on pre-construction services in order to strengthen the transition from contract signing to ground breaking. Rob will also focus on growth for several of EDiS Company’s targeted geographical and market-sector expansion areas.
Rob is a past President of the American Society of Professional Estimators, Delaware Chapter, and a former Educator for Green Construction for the Delaware Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC.) Outside of work, Rob is a car aficionado and enjoys woodworking and renovation projects.

Melissa Rysak's Bio
Some people say that Melissa is always up in everyone’s business – and they would be right. As the Director of Marketing, it is Melissa’s job to keep track of the stories of EDiS, and to tell them in a way that keeps both our current and future clients, as well as our employees, engaged and connected to our mission. Melissa developed her passion for storytelling early on, and actually found a way to turn her passion into a career. She joined EDiS in 2016 to direct the marketing and business development strategy, and to lead the firm’s positioning and messaging with clients and the community. After 12 years as a marketing, communications, and business development professional in the AEC industry, she has learned that when marketing can work in tandem with business development to use a company’s stories to demonstrate what they can do – magic can happen.

As the Director of People Development for EDiS, Beth Press oversees the human resources, training, and recruitment operations for the company. In her role, she helps build and sustain positive workplace relationships, fosters diversity and inclusion, encourages cooperation and collaboration, and facilitates conflict management. Beth has been with EDiS since 2006, and focuses on developing employees both personally and professionally, determining where training and employee education can contribute to the overall success of the company. She has managed and grown the EDiS Academy initiative, delivering both internal and external educational resources to EDiS staff for both technical and leadership professional education and development.

Chris Donahue's Bio
Coming from a background in architecture and engineering, Chris has a designer’s mindset. He understands design at a fundamental level – which is why he is so very good at dissecting it to find potential disruptions to the construction process, and opportunities for cost savings for his clients. As Director of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Chris uses immersive emerging technologies to provide improved project outcomes, project cost savings, improved regulatory approval and permitting outcomes, lowered risk, and better post-construction facilities management. Chris manages a team of tech professionals who find creative, forward-thinking uses of the most current construction technology to solve even the most complex challenges.
