Our Story
Annually, 10% of BRIDGES' work is performed for the public sector and 90% is for the private sector. Over our long history, 70% of our work has utilized a partnering approach and 30% has been hard-dollar competitive bidding.
Staffed with highly-qualified personnel, the BRIDGES' team will confidently handle project management, estimating, scheduling, accounting and administrative staff. With offices in Pittsburgh's North Hills, BRIDGES is centrally-located to best serve the tri-state area.
BRIDGES employs qualified tradesmen and is active in apprenticeship programs, certified through Associated Builders and Contractors of America. On a regular basis, the BRIDGES' team self-performs concrete forming and finishing, rough and finish carpentry, masonry, excavation, placement of reinforcing structural steel and drywall.
Utilizing a "hands-on" team approach, BRIDGES remains committed to helping clients control their budgets and schedules by maintaining accurate cost projections. BRIDGES incorporates sustainable design parameters into all projects and will work with clients to achieve LEED certification.
Utilizing the "partnership team approach," BRIDGES has performed various types of projects:
Commercial (office and retail)
Institutional (hospitals, nursing homes, personal care homes)
Condominiums
Student Housing
Educational Facilities, Colleges, and Universities
Light Industrial Projects
Commercial Experience
