Rhett Jacobi's Bio
Rhett Jacobi is a construction manager with a mixed background in the building industry. Rhett has a natural ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both contractors and clients. This skill, combined with his background in the field, enables him to be an effective intermediary that can clearly define project goals and challenges for owners so that they can understand the technical aspects of a project and make the necessary decisions to guide it to success.
With a background as a licensed general contractor, Rhett brings both the field experience and administrative skills necessary to properly organize and manage multiple construction projects.
Most recently, Rhett has been working as an owner’s representative and construction manager for Jones Construction Management at One Santa Fe, a landmark mixed-use development in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. He has overseen the construction of multiple, simultaneous tenant improvement projects and been responsible for coordinating the efforts of the landlord, multiple contractors, and tenants.
Rhett has a familiarity with overseeing all aspects of construction, including estimating, contracting, project accounting, subcontractor coordination and management, Quality Control, budgeting, scheduling, reporting. He has worked on several different project types including multi-family residential, commercial, retail, tenant improvement, and custom single-family residential.
Prior to working at Jones Construction Management, Rhett worked as a project manager for WR Newman General Contractors, building Tractor Supply Co. stores across California. His responsibilities included project estimating, budgeting, supervision and management of multiple projects under very tight schedule parameters in a highly competitive market.
With dual degrees in Economics and Recreation Management, Rhett started his career working for a destination lodge in Mexico where he guided day tours and maintained the property. Subsequently, he worked for a real estate investor in New York City, where he managed the maintenance of over 75 properties across the city, managing repairs, accounting, rent collection, code violations, lease negotiations, and market research for new acquisitions.
Simple. Intelligent. Unique.
