Estimating, Purchasing & Preconstruction
Patrick J. Bundy Jr.'s Bio
Pat Bundy comes to us from a unique and diversified background in construction. It started when he was a youngster pushing a broom and setting finish nails, while watching his father, a residential contractor, teach him the significance of doing the job right the first time. Pat has applied that core belief throughout his life, along with the emphasis of building strong relationships with all who work with him.
After graduating High School, he immediately joined the Navy Seabee’s, and saw duty in California, Hawaii, Sicily and Washington D.C. With a desire to get out of the field, he took classes during the evening at Cal Poly Pomona for their Construction Management Program and augmented it with an intense course in construction cost estimating. With a perfect final exam in estimating (never done before in the school history), he came to the attention of Rock & Waterscape Systems as an estimator / project manager, building artificial rockwork and water features for the likes of MGM Casinos, Disney World, and Knotts Berry Farm, just to name a few. During his tenure, he learned the importance of listening to the clients desires and translate that vision into a tangible design/build project. Before coming up through the ranks in the drywall industry, he oversaw the estimating and purchasing duties for a wood panelizing plant, which gave him insight into how technology can be a benefit in construction. His experience has brought him projects in the multi-million-dollar range, which includes a 410,000 SF psychiatric hospital.
Armed with knowledge, some scar tissue, and a sense of humor, Pat is here to guide and assist you in your next project.
