The eighth CEO in our employee-owned company's 130-year history, Frank Stanek earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and joined the O?A?K team in 1996. He has been in his current role since January 1, 2013. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, a licensed General Contractor and a LEED Accredited Professional.

John is a West Michigan native and economic enthusiast. He holds his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Hope College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

With two decades of experience in the commercial construction industry, Josh specializes in process management and institutional projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He is a licensed and registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Kevin joined O?A?K in 2007, becoming a division President after facilitating the agreement for Thomas Marine Construction’s sale to Owen?Ames?Kimball Company. He is responsible for daily business operations as well as field construction on all projects. Being a hands-on leader, it is not unusual to see Kevin out on the project sites operating equipment and supporting his teams in any way.

Matthew, a LEED Accredited Professional, became involved in the construction industry in 1996, working his way to Foreman for Mills Construction Company in South Dakota, where he built commercial buildings from the ground up. After moving to Southwest Florida and becoming a Lead Finish Carpenter, he joined Owen?Ames?Kimball in 2005 as an assistant superintendent. His experience with public, private, civil, and architectural projects allows Matt to lead our company with confidence.

Abel, a LEED Accredited Professional, graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration from the University of Florida. He joined Owen?Ames?Kimball (O?A?K) in 2006 as a job site superintendent for the largest project to date for O?A?K, the Marco M

After leading our Design-Build projects for several years, Adam was promoted to Director of Preconstruction in 2018. He specializes conceptual budgeting, urban redevelopments, expedited scheduling, and commercial projects - both industrial and office.

Alesha joined O?A?K in 2014 after graduation and has worked her way up the ladder from Project Manager Assistant to Senior Project Manager. She specializes in K-12 construction, renovations, government, media broadcasting, and safety-sensitive projects. Alesha manages the day-to-day operations of her diverse projects, with a focus on documentation, material management, budgeting, coordination, preconstruction, estimating, and making sure she exceeds her clients’ expectations. Alesha also leads training coordination and procedural processes throughout O?A?K.

Bryce is a West Michigan native with 11 years of construction management experience. In 2019, he moved back to the state from California to reestablish his West Michigan roots with his wife and two children. He specializes in educational and mixed-use construction, ranging from $10 million to $100+ million project costs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Ferris State University and is OSHA 30-hour certified.

Cade began his career interning at O?A?K for two consecutive summers. After he completed his construction management degree from Ferris State University, he was hired as a full-time Project Superintendent. Today, as the Director of Field Operations, Cade provides leadership to Project Superintendents and serves as a mentor to new employees. Cade is also member of O?A?K’s Technology Committee and oversees field technology needs.

Courtney brings twenty years of construction management and architectural experience, managing projects up to $70 million, with a large focus in the education and government sectors. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drury University. Prior to O?A?K, she served as the Co-Founder, Vice President, and Project Manager for a technology consultant firm.

A Kalamazoo County resident, she has served in various leadership positions, allowing her to be well versed in customer service, design, project management, and attention to detail.

Ellen entered the construction field more than 30 years ago as an owner’s representative for construction of a 350 room hotel and a 70 unit condominium complex as well as managing the completion of three five-story office buildings. Ellen’s professional experience as regional operations and facilities manager, director of operations and owner/president make her well-equipped to manage multiple, large scale projects and to bring them in on time and under budget.

Jeremy was born and raised in Rockford, Michigan, where he continues to live today with his wife and three children. He joined the O?A?K team in 2008. As our Chief Operating Officer, Jeremy is the link between our culture and our clients.

Rob joined O?A?K in 2015 as a Project Superintendent. With a strong work ethic, he successfully juggled full time work and school, while also dedicating time to his wife and children. In 2016, he transitioned to a Project Manager role. Now, as both a Project Manager and O?A?K’s Safety Director, Rob not only helps projects run smoothly, he also takes responsibility to ensure corporate safety both on and off the jobsite.

Ryan started with O?A?K in 2005 as a superintendent. Prior employment experience includes project superintendent for SWFL Home Builders from 2000 to 2003. Ryan supervised the construction of $3-10 million custom projects for both companies. Ryan is from a trades background and has strong carpentry and finish trades supervision skills. Ryan is particularly adept at managing difficult projects, is owner-oriented, and is highly regarded by owners with whom he has worked.

Tom was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and has completed many projects throughout the Midwest. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science Management from Western Michigan University.

Jan-Erik has 20 years of experience in residential real estate and the construction industry. In 2004 he became broker and co-owner of a real estate company with his twin brother. He chose to expand his career with O?A?K Florida in 2011 because of the strong work ethic and character of the O?A?K Company as a whole. He specializes in preconstruction delivery, strategic development and client relations.

Rachael joined O?A?K in 2010, after working for a Grand Rapids-based public relations firm that focused primarily on local millage and political campaign communications. In her current role, she oversees client-driven campaigns & corporate marketing.

Jan was born and raised in Colorado. She moved to Southwest Florida in 1981 and attended Edison State College. She joined O?A?Ks accounting department in 2000 and in January 2013 was promoted to Manager of Accounting Services & Human Resources.
