Barry Jernigan's Bio
Mr. Jernigan is currently project manager for CMCC, LLC in Cordova, TN. He is responsible for overseeing commercial and multifamily projects in 6 states. His duties involve budget preparation, implementation, and seeing the projects through to successful completion. With over 30 years’ experience in the profession, he has worked his way from a helper to his current position. He gained valuable leadership skills while serving proudly in the US Navy. In the most recent 10 years, he has been instrumental in the successful completion of over $120,000,000.00 in rehab and new multifamily projects in 9 different states.
Helen Hargest's Bio
Ms. Hargest has 30 years of accounting in the construction industry at the Controller and Management level. She worked as a Controller for an Industrial Paint Contractor for 15 years servicing customers such as the Charleston Naval Base, Westvaco Paper and Bayer Chemical. Then for 5 years, Ms. Hargest was the Controller for an Industrial/Commercial General Contractor with a customer base that was primarily involved with textile and automotive manufacturing. For the past 10 years, she has been a Controller for General Contractors that perform commercial, industrial, multifamily and single family construction. Ms. Hargest is very experienced with government contracts, AIA reporting, invoicing and certified payroll reports. She is also a skilled veteran with database set up and management, OSHA compliance and OSHA 300 reporting, and securing, negotiating and purchasing all types of construction insurance products.
Jon McCreery's Bio
Mr. McCreery has owned and operated construction companies for 30 years and is also a licensed contractor in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. His companies have been selected as Builder of the Year in Memphis two separate times and Builder of the Year for the state of Tennessee once, demonstrating a commitment to professional and well-managed businesses respected by members of the building industry. Mr. McCreery’s contribution to the community has been through his 26 years of being a member of Hope Presbyterian Church and serving as a Board Director for five years and then Chairman for three years with the Germantown Youth Athletic Association (GYAA), the largest youth sports associations in the Greater Memphis area. His leadership skills have been recognized by the Shelby County Mayor and the City of Memphis Mayor through their appointment of Mr. McCreery to serve on the Memphis and Shelby County planning commission, formerly known as the Memphis and Shelby County Land Use Control Board (LUCB). In 2012, Mr. McCreery was also appointed by both mayors as Chairman of the LUCB. He has also been a Director for the Board of First Capital Bank for 14 years. Lance McKee's Bio
Lance has worked in the construction industry for 16 years with Chamberlain & McCreery. He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity working with professionals to build a house to become someone’s home. He started his career as an assistant superintendent learning the basic foundations of building a home. After several years as a superintendent, he moved up to Project Manager to being Regional Project Manager over North Mississippi. After years of being Regional Project Manager, Lance moved rolls to Chief Financial Officer of Dogwood Properties which is a residential rental company that housed more than 150 properties and ran the day to day operations. While operating Dogwood Properties, Lance is our VP of Commercial Division. The Commercial Division encompasses many aspects of construction such as day to day operations of our shopping centers, commercial construction operation, new commercial builds, remodels on tenant spaces in shopping centers and remodels in residential homes. Utilizing his excellent organizational skills and his management skills in scheduling the day to day workflow, he manages to maintain a highly successful program for us. Lance is experienced and proficient in estimating, purchase orders, scheduling workflow, contract negotiations with customers, subcontractors, and team management. He is skillful in MAS90, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, QuickBooks software programs.
Phil Chamberlain III's Bio
Phil has worked in the construction industry for 22 years and at the same time was involved in the leadership of the local trade association. In 2005 – 2012 Phil served the industry as an active Board of Director member of the Memphis Area Home Builders Association (MAHBA) and during that tenure was twice chairman of the Builders Issues committee. While Chair of Builders Issues he negotiated with the code enforcement departments with 3 municipalities and Shelby County on code, seismic and service issues. Phil has also served as a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and that service includes leading a team of professionals to build a Habitat home from start to finish in 3.5 days. Starting his career as an assistant superintendent and soon after in customer service assured Phil of a good basic foundation of knowledge to build upon. After working as a field superintendent for several years he now works as a Project Manager and Operations Manager. Phil is experienced and proficient in estimating, purchase orders, scheduling workflow, contract negotiations with customers and subcontractors, and team management.
Phil Chamberlain II's Bio
Mr. Chamberlain has owned an operated construction companies for 32 years in and around the greater Memphis area. He is a licensed general contractor in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. Believing in the responsibility to give back to the community, Mr. Chamberlain served as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis from 2001-2007, and served as President of the Board at Habitat in 2006. Mr. Chamberlain was elected by his piers to be President of the Memphis Area Home Builders Association in 2002, and then President of the Home Builders Association of Tennessee in 2010. In 2008, he was the sole construction expert appointed to Tennessee Governor Bredesen’s Energy Task Force joining 17 other experts, such as environmental lawyers from Vanderbilt and scientist from Oakridge National Laboratories to craft a comprehensive energy policy that would be adopted by the Tennessee legislature. Beginning in 2011 to 2015, Tennessee Governor Haslam appointed Mr. Chamberlain as one of 15 Board of Directors of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA). THDA is widely known as one of the top Housing Finance Agencies in the country. Two of the most rewarding construction projects under the direct responsibility of Mr. Chamberlain were 73 homes built for Naval Officers on the Naval Base in Millington, Tennessee, and the 150 affordable homes built in the Hope VI development known as Uptown Memphis near St. Jude. The Naval project contract was approximately $12,900,000 dollars and the Uptown Memphis project was a total of $15,000,000 over the life of the project.
Roger Bishop's Bio
Mr. Bishop has worked in the Residential & Commercial building industry for over 34 years. Mr. Bishop has worked as a Superintendent, Project Manager and Vice President of Construction for Chamberlain & McCreery managed all aspects of construction field operations. Mr. Bishop also has been an owner of his own construction company from 2009 to 2018. Mr. Bishop was asked to team back up with CMCC in 2018 as Vice President of Capital Improvements, and as a Project Manager on multi-family housing projects. Mr. Bishop has served as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He has also served on the Builders Issues Committee for the Memphis Area Home Builders Association helping with solving the needs and problems of the local building community. Mr. Bishop is certified with the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation and has worked closely with T.D.E.C. staff on all projects under their requirements and specifications.

Lubianca Rohatgi's Bio
Mrs. Rohatgi has worked in the construction industry for over 5 years in a Project Coordinator/Procurement position. As Project Coordinator Mrs. Rohatgi was responsible for submittals and specs for bids/proposals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements, managing deliveries, and obtaining quotes from vendors and subcontractors. Her experience expanded to include, assisting with drafting subcontracts, producing purchase orders and change orders, scheduling crew work hours, budgeting, preparing Close Out documents, cost projections, and monthly pay applications. Mrs. Rohatgi has also worked as a Project Manager for a bath remodeling contractor. As such she was responsible for managing a team of installers and salespersons to increase productivity, screening new hires, and resolving customer complaints. Ms. Rohatgi is well trained in construction-related software including, MAS90, Timberline, Primavera, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Tara Taylor's Bio
Mrs. Taylor has worked in the building and real estate industry for 18 years and has a thorough understanding of the building business including contracts, permits, licensing requirements, and subcontract relations. In 2001, she obtained her real estate license and was a successful real estate professional with a focus on selling new construction homes. Working with buying customers properly prepared her to transition from sales to the construction side of the business. Managing a 10,000 square foot new home design center developed her skills with change order amendments to contracts, vendors, new products, purchase orders, and all subcontractor unit pricing. Utilizing her excellent organization and management skills Mrs. Taylor was highly successful in building profitable relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Additional skills that have been developed in the construction coordinator role include understanding plans and specifications required on a job, preparing submittals for contract relationships, purchase orders and scheduling. Mrs. Taylor is well trained on construction-related software including MAS 90, Timberline, Builder MT, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.

Ms. Chamberlain has 26 years of customer service, which includes real estate sales and the management of her sales staff. As a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club with the Memphis Area Association of Realtor, she is recognized throughout the industry as specializing in new residential construction sales. She is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and holds her license with Adaro Realty in Cordova, Tennessee. In 2019 she was recognized as the top-dollar selling agent in the company.
