Scope Of Work
Sundt is currently building a 130,000-square-foot Tech Port Center + Arena, a large technology and innovation campus just of downtown San Antonio. The state-of-the-art facility will feature multiple components, beginning with a 3,200-person multipurpose arena on the building’s side, which will host various events including concerts, electronic gaming tournaments, technology competitions and trade shows.
Other components include a new home for the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology (SAMSAT), a showroom to demonstrate technological innovations, and a large 24-hour electronic gaming area and full-scale food hall. Also, the facility will feature a “maker space” laboratory, which will provide scalable space and prototyping/fabrication equipment to support universities, startup ventures and mature industry sectors in their collaborative research and development efforts.
