Our Story

Custom Linings, Inc. is in the business of selling Polyurea Coating Systems (PCS) in two 55 gallon drum sets, selling/leasing machinery and specialized spray equipment and providing technical support related to the application of PCS.

Custom Linings was started in September 1995 by Mark Swarny. While serving on active duty in the United States Air Force, Mark researched various coating methods for possible use in the military. Based on his findings when Mark left the military he started Custom Linings and began selling coating machines, coating materials and providing technical service. Custom Linings Corporate office is located in Buena Vista, Colorado with operations in 18 states.

Custom Linings has a full line of custom blended PCS products to meet the needs of every customer. PCS has quickly risen to the top of the protective coating industry because of its resistance to chemicals, ultra violet radiation and temperatures tested from -40 to 300 degrees fahrenheit. The puncture pressure of nearly 3000 pounds per square inch (PSI) resists gouges and tears. We offer six different blends of PCS ranging from a soft pliable rubber like liner to a hard shelled industrial coating, as well as high humidity formulas. A Custom Linings consultant will assist you in selecting the blend that will be right for you and your individual needs.

The material has NO Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emitters such as styrene, nor does it contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) or hydrochlorofloracarbons (HCFC), all of which are being banned by the Environmental Protection Agency and are components or solvents of other traditional coatings offered by other companies. Our material is suitable for processing through a variety of equipment from several different manufacturers.

Custom Linings products can be textured or aggregated to be non-slip and come in a variety of vivid colors. They can be applied to metal, concrete, wood and man-made composites such as fiberglass, making the possibilities almost limitless.
