I wanted to take a moment to express how much I appreciated the services ZLC provided to us. Things can always change in terms of scope or timetable, and ZLC was very accommodating through the entire process. Their team is both personable and professional and they provided superb customer service. They responded “fast track” on short notice to several job walks and were very competitive in their bids, to include the details they provided in their bid breakdown. I highly recommend them for demolition work.
During the Demolition quote process, I had three companies come out to look at what we wanted done. Out of all the companies, I liked Zali the best and he gave us the best proposal.
Before we contracted with ZLC, I asked for three referrals from Zali and called each of them and they had nothing but good things to say about the company and their work. Very easy to deal with.
We’ve used them not once but twice! We were very pleased with their work! I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
To whom it may concern,
I would just like to take a moment to express my appreciation, satisfaction and recommendation, for the projects that ZLC Corp. assisted me on. I myself have a Masters degree in Real Estate Property Management, so I think I can speak not only as a satisfied client, but also with some authority.
Background:
I live in Southern California, but I inherited my parents’ house where I grew up in Hayward. My father was a floor contractor and we lived on a half-acre, on a private road, where my dad besides the main house and detached garage, built two additional buildings in the rear of the property in the 1950’s. Unfortunately the rear main building which included a full professional bar, kitchen and dance floor as well as a small building were built without permits. As such, I was ordered by the County to remove the buildings.
The Search:
At that point I began conducting research and looking for a company that could handle the demolition of the buildings from start to finish. This included permits, asbestos building Materials surveys, cutting and sealing off electrical, water and gas lines and of course the removal of the buildings material some of which had asbestos and lastly the grading of the property. After several interviews and meetings with different firms, I am most happy to say that I selected ZLC Corporation. I could not have found a better company to work with, who was not only the most reasonably priced, but what is most important, kept me informed step by step in a timely and professional manner. The staff from Francisco the Estimator, Zali the Superintendent and Victoria the Office Manager were so easy to work with.
The Projects:
What originally started as one project ended up being three. Once the buildings were demolished and the area where the buildings stood was graded, we discovered a former old septic tank used prior to the sewers being installed on the property. This was under a cement driveway. ZLC Corp was allowed to bid and was again selected to cut out approximately 750 square feet of the cement driveway and remove the septic tank, then backfill, compact and replace and pour the new section of driveway. This project also included getting a Hazardous survey, remediation and abatement, and erosion control. Things that people who are not in the business, have no idea what is needed in order to obtain permits. Again, everything was done painlessly and professionally, with step by step pictures, Texting and phone calls to me, while I was in Los Angeles. Lastly, they had done such a great job on both of those projects, I contracted with them to grade the rest of the rear portion of the property and haul away miscellaneous debris.
Conclusion:
The bottom line is that in my opinion, I was either very smart or very lucky to find such a great company to work with. I highly recommend Zali, and the rest of the staff at ZLC Corporation.
Sincerely,
Barry M. Caires
