Sam Nicholson's Bio
Nicholson is the president/founder of Grand Canyon Development Partners. With more than 35 years of civil and building construction experience ranging from manufacturing ready-mix concrete and asphalt paving, to the construction of water and amusement parks, hotel casinos, sports facilities, sports arenas, retail and entertainment venues. Some of the notable projects he and his team have been associated with include the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Grand Bazaar Shops of Las Vegas, Paris Hotel & Casino, Luxor Hotel, Caesars Coliseum, Trump International Hotel, Green Valley Ranch, Marriott Renaissance, Hyatt Regency, Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Arena, Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Stadium, and the Phoenix Suns Basketball Arena. Grand Canyon has performed pro-bono work for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Southern Nevada Children First, Noah’s Animal House, and many other organizations in Nevada, assisting in the development and construction of new projects, or the repair and remodel of current facilities.
Vincent Tatum's Bio
Tatum is an experienced professional in the development industry with more than 13 years of successful management in commercial construction, project management, construction sourcing and procurement, capital investment management, financial cost and controls, risk management, and logistics. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Japanese at Old Dominion University, and is also a veteran of the U.S. Army. His past positions include director, design and construction strategic sourcing for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, senior project manager of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and project manager of Gemstone Development.

Karim Jabal's Bio
Karim Jabal is an industry leader with over two decades of progressive experience spanning various areas of technology, engineering, and construction. Prior to joining Grand Canyon Development Partners, Mr. Jabal held a series of Executive level positions as the Director of Technology Consulting, Executive Director of Technology, and VP of Project Development. In these positions, Mr. Jabal developed a wide bandwidth of notable skillsets in areas such as Mission Critical Facilities, Converged Network Design, and Technology Master Planning. Mr. Jabal’s strong technical skills in Audiovisual, Information Technology, and Security Surveillance Systems lend to his ability to evolve alongside this ever-changing industry. His extensive expertise in Energy and Sustainability and Smart Building Technologies enable him to strategically develop and execute the most complex projects of any volume.
Tim Lockett's Bio
Tim began his career in 1991 at the Nevada Test Site working for Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Company (REECo). After several years working for REECo, the contract for the works at the Nevada Test Site was awarded to Bechtel Nevada. While at Bechtel Nevada, Tim was promoted to Engineering Supervisor. In 1998, Tim joined the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) as project manager. During his tenure at UNLV, Tim worked his way through the ranks to Director of Construction. Tim oversaw the delivery of 27 new facilities on the campus as well as hundreds of major renovations and remodels over his 20-year career at UNLV.

Lisa is a Project Manager with over 17 years of experience in the design & construction industry. Lisa began her career in Planning, Architecture & Urban Designs as Project Director. She managed Architectural, Interior and Planning projects for The City of North Las Vegas, The City of Henderson and McCarran International Airport. Along with her experience for successfully delivering professional Architectural, Interior, Engineering, FF&E and Construction services she is well equipped to manage any project small or large scale. Her experience lends to her ability to maintain the project schedule through budget, cost control and reconciliation.
Tony Cosentino's Bio
With over 43 years of experience, Tony’s working knowledge and experience as an architect allows him to approach matters with unique insight. He has excellent problem-solving capabilities and examines unique ways to accomplish complex tasks. He has collaborated with and managed high profile consultants such as Thornton Tomasetti, HOK Sports, Parsons Transportation, Consentini Consulting, HKS and KPF to name a few. Tony has extensive experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, owners representatives, and project staff as well.
