Beth Vannoy's Bio
Discovering her dream to become an attorney in the third grade, Beth Vannoy knew from an early age that she wanted to be involved with the law.
Working toward that dream, Beth attended Wake Forrest University as an undergrad, where she majored in politics and minored in communications. Inspired to begin her career as quickly as possible, Beth finished her studies at Wake Forrest in three years before a love for sun and adventure brought her to law school in San Diego, CA.
Drawn to California Western School of Law because of the internship opportunities available, Beth entered the program in the hopes of merging her love of law and baseball into an exciting career as an agent negotiating contracts for MLB players. Fate had a different plan in mind for Beth, however, and her career path shifted when she was offered a position at a litigation firm upon graduating from law school. During her time out West, Beth practiced primarily construction defect litigation in California and Nevada defending general contractors and subcontractors at Morris & Sullivan, LLP (currently named Morris, Sullivan & Lemkul, LLP).
During a visit to North Carolina for Thanksgiving one year, Beth reconnected with Jay Vannoy and ultimately moved back home to be with him in 2008. She joined Jay’s law firm, and the two were married in 2009.
Beth came to know Window World as an attorney at Vannoy, Colvard, Triplett & Vannoy. Recognized by Todd Whitworth for her unique approach to problem-solving, Beth was first introduced to the company as an outside counsel before joining Window World as its in-house counsel in 2010. Beth was appointed to the Window World board of directors in 2015.
Aside from her commitment to Window World, faith and family are of the utmost importance for Beth. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports with her children, watching her boys share her love of baseball, and cooking. Her family attends Wilkesboro Baptist Church where she serves on the Preschool Advisory Committee and teaches Sunday School.
Jamie McBride's Bio
Board Member for Window World and Managing Partner of Cornerstone Wealth Partners, a wealth management and financial planning firm, Jamie’s days are spent helping people and organizations prepare for the future.
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Jamie attended Montana State University, where he graduated with a degree in business management. He started his career in financial services in 1993, and moved to North Carolina over 20 years ago after meeting his wife, Susan.
Helping people reach their goals has been the hallmark of Jamie’s career, which has most recently led to his 2015 co-founding of Cornerstone Wealth Partners in Winston-Salem. Specializing in wealth management and financial planning for individuals and small businesses, as well as family and benefit planning, Jamie’s “day job” lends itself perfectly to his work as Window World Board Member.
When the Window World Board of Directors was founded in 2011, Jamie was immediately selected due to his background in finance and his long-term support of Window World. His leadership, especially in The Stinger project, a collaboration with John Andretti that raised more than $1,000,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, has been instrumental in Window World’s continued success.
While he’s made North Carolina his home, including developing an appreciation of “red dirt” country music, Jamie’s roots are only as far as his ever-present Boston hat. He returns to the northeast every summer with his wife and two daughters, and spends the rest of the year convincing Window World employees and their children that the best baseball is, in fact, played by the Red Sox.
Steve Kamody's Bio
Serving as President of Window World, Steve Kamody is using his over two decades of experience in the remodeling industry to position the company for continued success, leading with an emphasis on collaboration and long-term solutions.
Steve's expertise in sales and business operations is the result of a 30-year career focused on driving value. After graduating from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Steve joined the banking world as a Senior Loan Officer in Small Business Lending. During his eight-year tenure in this field, Steve worked with countless small businesses, developing a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship. This time afforded him an opportunity to learn in many different ways: he was exposed to the inner workings of various industries, and also graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
After working on the finance end of remodeling, Steve joined the industry in earnest, accepting a position as National Sales Manager of Paragon Door Designs. It was in this role that he first became acquainted with Window World, designing the first entry door program for the company in the late 1990s. Steve then went to work for American Weather Seal as Regional Vice President, overseeing sales to dealers across the country.
In 2008, Steve joined Window World as Northeast Regional Manager. He was promoted to Director of Sales & Operations in 2011, and then Vice President of Sales in 2014. During this time, he managed record-setting sales growth, and also reconfigured the regional management staff to deliver world-class support to franchisees.
Tammy Whitworth's Bio
Born and raised in Wilkes County, North Carolina, Tammy Whitworth’s mission to honor her roots guides her as much as her vision for the future. Serving the community that she and her family have called home for generations is part of what keeps Tammy driven to shepherd Window World®, America’s largest exterior remodeler, successfully into its third decade and beyond.
After attending Meredith College and earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics/Political Science degree, Tammy began her career in the renovation and remodeling industry. Initially working at a wholesale window company and managing the measure and install program, Tammy quickly learned the ins and outs of replacing windows. She and her husband, Todd, purchased their first Window World store in Wilmington, NC from Leon Whitworth, Todd’s father, and quickly opened their second store with life-long friends Darren and Michelle Kennelly in Winston-Salem, NC.
In 2007, Tammy and Todd purchased Window World, Inc., the corporate office of Window World, from Leon Whitworth. While they were committed to implementing the change necessary to see the company into its next era, they remained steadfast in their resolve to keep the core of Window World, its family approach, constant.
Tammy and Todd started Window World Cares®, the charitable arm of Window World, in 2008. Their eldest child, Anna Grace, was premature and spent the first days of her life in a hospital. Having experienced the strain of worrying about their child’s health, Tammy and Todd decided to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Named for the patron saint of lost causes, St. Jude takes on the toughest cases of childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, and does so without regard for a family’s ability to pay. In 2010, Window World Cares was named St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s New Corporate Partner of the Year, and Tammy’s passion for the hospital has led to nearly $6 million in fundraising.
Overcoming personal tragedy, Tammy became CEO of Window World after the passing of her husband, Todd in 2010. Since then, she has led the company in its pursuit to establish world-class training for franchisees, through profound changes in product, installation, and standards regulations, established a Board of Directors and most recently, an Advisory Council of Franchisees. Her vision for Window World remains to position store owners with the best possible tools to be successful, providing opportunity for hard-working families across the nation.
Still proud to call Wilkesboro home, Tammy serves on the board of Wilkes Community College and supports local initiatives year round. As a mother of three children, an avid horse enthusiast, and full-time executive, she uses her experience, in both life and business, to guide other aspiring working professionals as they pursue their own dreams.

Mark Bumgarner's Bio
Mark Bumgarner, Vice President of Franchise Relations & Engagement, has officially been with Window World since 2009, although his relationship with the company can truly be dated back to his childhood friendship with Todd Whitworth. From working in window warehouses as a young man, to starting his career at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Mark’s eventual role in franchise relations for the nation’s largest exterior remodeler is a lifetime in the making.
Mark joined Window World as Director of Training after a 21-year tenure at Lowe’s, culminating in a position as Senior Manager of Portfolio Projects. He was promoted to Vice President at Window World in 2013, and assumed his current role of Vice President of Franchise Relations in 2015. In this capacity, he oversees the Window World University and Consumer Relations departments, as well being heavily engaged with Window World’s philanthropic endeavors.
Proud husband to wife, Jackie, with whom he shares two sons, Mark’s family approach extends to his role as liaison between Window World, Inc. and its over 200 franchisees (as long as they’re Panthers and Yankees fans).
