LEFKO Construction

Marc Lefkovits is the CEO of LEFKO Construction. In this role, he oversees all operations, strategy, and client relations. Prior to co-founding LEFKO Development in 2004 with his father and brother, Marc worked for General Motors, where he received the Chairman’s Honor award, GM’s highest employee recognition.

Born in Brazil, Marc grew up in Venezuela, and moved to the US to study Industrial & Systems Engineering and Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology. Marc notably served on the board of the Anti-Defamation League for the Southeast region, the Congregation Or Hadash, and currently serves as President of the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association. He is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of French and Hebrew.

Tomas serves as CFO of LEFKO Construction. In this role, he oversees all company financials, risk management and pre-construction. Born in Austria and raised in Venezuela, Tomas is a serial entrepreneur with multiple business ventures in South America and the US prior to co-founding LEFKO Construction with two of his sons.

Tomas is a founding member of the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association and was a past President of Hemshech, the Atlanta organization of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants. He has BS & MS in Civil Engineering (NYU), an MBA (Mercer), and MS in Finance (GSU). While in Venezuela, he also served as President of Zulia State Chamber of Commerce and held many Board positions. Tomas is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hebrew & Hungarian.

Hisham is one of LEFKO’s project estimators, known for his strategic thinking, scheduling and analytics. He brings expertise in unit price analytics to the team and reinforces our pricing and cost controls for our clients. Hisham spent time working in Saudi Arabia before joining LEFKO. Earning a B. S. in Civil Engineering from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta, a diploma in Finance Management, he is currently working on his MBA. Hisham has additional training in leadership management, HSE and QHSE specifications and standards.

Giuseppe manages LEFKO’s estimating department. In this role, he oversees a team of professionals that are responsible planning, procurement, and value engineering. Giuseppe has a keen ability to manage multiple estimating projects at one time, keeping track of construction documents and communicating with numerous subcontractors. A Civil Engineer by training, he received his B. S. Cum Laude in Civil Engineering from Rafael Urdaneta University and recently his Master’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Construction Project Management from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela.

Argenis is one of LEFKO’s Project Estimators, known for his attention to detail and superior knowledge of CAD and structural modeling. He is an architect by training, with a Bachelors’ in Architecture from University of Zulia, Venezuela. In 2019, Argenis participated in the Holcim Award Competition and he won the Venezuelan Architecture Biennale Award for his architectural thesis.

Hisham is one of LEFKO’s project estimators, known for his strategic thinking, scheduling and analytics. Andreina serves as LEFKO’s Director of Field Operations, overseeing the company’s day-to-day project management activities. She has over 19 years of experience in the construction industry and brings a wide diversity of knowledge to the team, including high-rise buildings, commercial construction, estimating, structural engineering and general construction management. Andreina studied civil engineering in her native Venezuela before moving to the US.

Eduardo is one of LEFKO’s principal Project Managers, known for his attention to detail and his ability to recognize and solve problems. As a trained architect, he has over 20 years’ experience in architectural design and managing construction projects. Eduardo joined LEFKO after working in the healthcare construction industry for a number of years. He has a B.S. in Architecture from University of Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela, and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Johana is LEFKO's Office Manager with operational expertise working in high-energy supply chain and logistics environments. She smoothly fulfills the LEFKO team's needs by coordinating office responsibilities, applying expanded bookkeeping skills, and balancing project and office budgets. She earned her B.S. in Finance Acct and her Masters in Business Management from Universidad Del Zuliai in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Orlando is one of LEFKO’s principal Project Managers, bringing considerable international construction experience to the role. A seasoned industry veteran, he has over 10 years’ experience overseeing a wide variety of commercial and residential construction projects. Orlando studied civil engineering at the Universidad del Zulia and later received a degree in architecture from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta in his native Venezuela. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

John serves as LEFKO’s Business Development Manager, bringing extensive leadership and organizational skills to the team. Working with Georgia State University for many years, most recently as Associate Director for Facilities, his deep knowledge of the industry and interpersonal skills are vital to LEFKO constructions growth plans. John grew up in Belle Plaine, Iowa, and moved to Georgia after completing graduate school at the University of Iowa.
