Scope Of Work
The Galles Chevrolet project was a Design-Build project built with Vigil and Associates Architecture. The project included a 45,000 square foot, pre-egineered metal building package that served as the base facility for the new dealership. The metal building package was augmented and enhanced by an exterior aluminum panel system and glazed aluminum assemblies. Galles Chevrolet now has a space for a new, high tech service department that includes over 40 new vehicle lifts and computerized service equipment. In addition to the cutting edge service facility, the building also houses new showroom and office/administrative areas that all feature high-end finishes and integrated office systems and equipment.
The new facility is built firmly on the corner of a major intersection that meets the standards set forth by General Motors and its national architect. This location not only helps expand their business, but makes it more easily accessible, being that it’s right off of Interstate 25. This addition to the area fills a prime piece of previously vacant land in Albuquerque.
