In 1971, Perc Petersen moved from Utah and Started Perc Petersen Construction. During the beginning years Perc Petersen Construction built homes, shops, and large agriculture storage buildings.
Towards the late 1970s the company began to move to commercial and industrial projects and establish its reputation as a solid metal building/ general contractor. Perc Petersen construction self performed concrete, wood framing, finish carpentry, and steel erection.
In the Mid 1980’s Perc Petersen sold the company to his sons, Keith and Roland Petersen. During this transition the company name was changed to Petersen Brothers Construction Inc.
In the early 1990s Keith Petersen Purchased Roland Petersen’s Interest in the company and continued to expand and grow the business and started offering design/build delivery method. Many of our customers have chosen this method over other methods due to tight project schedules, and having a single contract to provide design and construction services. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion. With the design-build method we have successfully delivers office buildings, schools, transportation, and infrastructure projects with superior results, resulting in a high level of satisfaction with the completed projects.
In January of 2008 Keith Petersen retired as President of Petersen Brothers Construction and Jeremy Petersen, a third generation son purchased Keith’s interest in Petersen Brothers Construction and is currently serving as President and CEO.
