As President/CEO of Bush Construction, A.J. Loss provides strategic
direction, develops client and vendor relationships, and acts as a
unifying team leader. A.J. believes that effective communication is
the key to lasting relationships and successful projects.
Loss served an enlistment in the United States Navy before earning
his Construction Engineering degree from Iowa State University. He
also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from
the University of Iowa. In 2008, he became a USGBC-LEED Accredited
Professional. In 2009, he earned the Designated Design-Build
Professional™ certification.
Loss is very active in the Quad-Cities community. He serves as Chair
of Our Savior Lutheran Church’s Building and Grounds Committee, Chair
of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of the Quad Cities, Chair
of the Master Builders of Iowa (MBI), Vice Chair of Bridge
Investments, Vice Chair of the Development Association of Rock Island
(DARI), a Finance Committee Member and ROC Member of the Quad Cities
Chamber of Commerce and an Architectural Review Committee Member of
Greater Davenport Redevelopment Corporation (GDRC). He is a member of
Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Design Build Institute of
America (DBIA) and the Davenport Rotary Club.
