Scope Of Work
This project included construction of a 17 MGD cast-in-place concrete pump station with an four million gallon above grade concrete storage tank. Construction of the pump station wet well required a 60 foot deep engineered open cut excavation in soil and rock. In addition to the main two stage pumping system there are three large storage tank pumps and channel grinders. In addition to the high pressure interior piping the project an extensive large diameter ductile iron yard piping system ranging in depth from 10 to 45 feet was installed. Ancillary systems included a chemical fed and odor control system along with two large generators to provide 100% backup capability.
