H.R. Beebe, Inc. is a full-service General Construction and Construction Management company based in Utica, NY. We were founded in 1912, and we’ve had a hand in thousands of building projects in New York State over the last 100 years. In 1995, Beebe Construction Services was formed to further broaden our capability to meet our clients’ needs and is now our main construction arm.

We tailor our construction approach to your project and your particular needs. Our project team works with you as an active partner, from pre-construction meetings with architects to project meetings with subcontractors. From site due diligence, conceptual layout and budget development to completion and turnover of your facility or project, we never rest.

Safety

Safety is more than a job requirement at H.R. Beebe. It’s an integral part of our company, on every successful project, and begins and ends with every worker on your job site. We enjoy a long-standing reputation for providing quality construction delivered on time, and we strive to keep our job sites clean and safe. We employ a full-time safety officer to perform job site inspections, random drug/alcohol testing and safety training for new hires and long-term employees alike. Our current EMR is at .82, an excellent rating in the construction industry.

The UN World Committee on Environment and Development states that, “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

H.R. Beebe is committed to meeting these goals through sustainable construction practices and green building technologies. We have experience with the United States Green Building Council’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process. We were the general contractor on the Hage Building in downtown Utica, the first LEED-certified building in the city and one of the few to receive a Gold certification in upstate New York, as well as the Emerson Student Center Building at Hamilton College, a LEED Gold certificate candidate.
