We are a small but steadily growing company which allows the owner to be hands-on daily on the projects where we perform work.  

Randy has worked in underground utility construction since 1995 while still in high school. Two months after graduating high school he went through the operating engineers local 3 apprenticeship program. He worked for GW Nelson General Engineering, Bill Nelson Construction & Larry Nelson Construction. It is his intention to continue the family legacy of quality work & integrity that developers have come to expect over the past 70 years from the Nelsons.

Experience includes Caltrans projects, City of Woodlake, City of Tulare, City of Selma, City of Los Banos, City of Fresno, City of Clovis, City of Visalia, City of Dinuba, City of Kingsburg, SKF Utility District, Tulare County, Department of Fish and Wildlife, and multiple private residential (single family homes & apartments) & commercial projects.  He understands that each city, county, state, private entity, and federal agency apply their own details and specs to their approved projects. Having worked on many different types of utility projects including sanitary sewer trunk lines, storm drains, lift stations, and water mains, has taught us to become familiar with every jurisdiction’s construction details and procedures before bidding or beginning field operations.
