Mary Beatty's Bio
Mary Beatty is responsible for the day to day operations of Brexton. She is responsible for executing the strategic business plan with the support of the Brexton Leadership Team. Mary started her career at Brexton in 2007 as the Accounting Manager and worked her way through the ranks on the accounting side of the business and was promoted to President in December of 2017. She is also responsible for handling Investor Relations.
Mary attended Ohio University for three years and graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Art. She is an active member in the AGC, Conway Family Business Center, and Builder’s Exchange. Mary completed the Builders Exchange Rising Leaders Institute in the fall of 2011.
Before coming to work for Brexton in 2007, Mary worked for Limited Brands in the Community Relations Department and was responsible for tracking several thousand employee’s involvement and contributions for their annual United Way Campaign, as well as reviewing and responding to thousands of donation requests to the Limited Brands, Inc.
Mary’s hobbies include cooking, reading, riding her bicycle and gardening. Mary resides in the Short North area of Columbus, Ohio with her husband Joe and cat Pearl.
Timothy Galvin's Bio
Tim was appointed by Ohio’s Governor and is serving his 3rd 4 year term on the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS) and is Vice Chairman of OBBS, chairing the Education and Certification Committees, Past President of the Ohio Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), past Chairman of the Central Ohio (AGC), serves on the AGC Project Delivery System Committee, AGC Legislative Committee Chairman, AGC Marketing Committee, served on many other AGC committees and projects since 1986, current BX of Cleveland Ohio and Central Ohio Builders Exchange active member (BX), Design Build Institute of America active member (DBIA), Grandview Marble Cliff Area Chamber of Commerce (GMCCOC) active committee member, appointed by Mayor Coleman in 2007 to The City of Columbus Building Services Review Committee (BSRC) to help make the City more development friendly, as well as having served on the Diocesan Building Commission (DBC) for the Bishop of Columbus from 1995 to 2003.
He is a past member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), American Institute of Architects associate member (AIA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), National, Ohio and Columbus Board of Realtors, Columbus Commercial Industrial Investment Realtors (CCIIR), Building Officials and Code Administrators International member (BOCA) and Columbus Chamber of Commerce (CCC).
He is a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Third order Victory Council Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Xavier Beneficial Society, Cum Christo of Columbus, and CBMC Forum. He and his wife reside in Grandview Heights, Ohio where he was an active coach in several sports for many years.
