Jack Klaer's Bio
Jack began his career in 1972, with his admission to the Local Carpenters Union #1815 in Santa Ana, California. It was there that he developed a solid background in the largest of the subcontract trades. He rose quickly to the position of foreman, where he supervised carpentry and technical concrete operations on many high rise and commercial projects throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County metropolitan areas.
In 1977 Jack founded his own construction company and completed many restaurants and commercial projects for some of the premier developers in Southern California. In early 1989, the opportunity arose to join California Sonic Drive-in Restaurants, Inc., in developing the Sonic Drive-in Restaurant concept in Southern California. With his knowledge and expertise in fast food restaurant development, he put together the construction and development program that resulted in the entitlement, building, and opening of nine new restaurants.
In 1992 Jack formed Klaer Brittain Inc. (KBI) to specialize in Commercial and Institutional Construction. Under his leadership KBI has completed many large Church Facilities, Shopping Centers, Restaurants, and Office Buildings.
