DLX Plastering Rebuttal: Arkady T.. acting as a inexperienced homeowner Contractor, provided the 'testimonial' below, however, he neglected to add It was his unlicensed framing contractor that attached shear wall panels real tight with out thr required spacing allowed. Custom materials had to be made as owners request on 08/15/2015 Project that force the delays. But project finished beautiful, 2yrs pass I did her any complaints! until after the monsoon of recorded rain fall end of 2017 and he made false accusation.. after a couple hair lines cracks appeared ...BUT.. I was vindicated by the CA Contractors License Board of no wrong doing on January 18th. 2018. See the new Testimonial which I uploaded documenting my work did not violate the Business Professions Code to which he accused DLX Plastering. This gentleman now has a beautiful House.

ArkadyT wrote: DLX Plastering was contracted to re-build the front and side walls of the house which included installing new lath system with 2-ply grade paper, 40 ml water barrier, scratch coats and brown coats, re-stacco the entire house with smooth stucco reinforced with fiber mesh. Also installing windows and doors trim. The entire re-stucco job was sealed with Valasil. The project that was scheduled to be finished in 60 days but took 4 month to finish. There were numerous major delays due to lack of proper planing. However the major problem with new stucco showed up after February 2017 rains. The parts of the house where the walls we completely rebuilt started showing signs of deterioration and crack in multiple places. It turned out that moisture mitigation and water diversion was not done properly resulting in major stucco integrity issues. Avoid this contractor!
