Tom Miller co-founded Miller Company with his brother Harley in 1973. Through the years, Tom’s leadership has been recognized with numerous awards, including “General Contractor of the Year” from the American Subcontractors Association, “Business Leader of the Year” from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Sun-Sentinel’s prestigious “Excalibur Award.” In 2003, he was inducted into the Nova Southeastern University Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.
Highly active in professional and community organizations, Tom has served as president of the Association of South Florida, and as chairman of the Broward Economic Development Council (now the Broward Alliance) and The Broward Workshop. He has also served on the Advisory Council for the University of Florida M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building and the Board of Trustees for the Broward College Foundation. A state certified general contractor, Tom earned his degree in building from the University of Florida.
