Scope Of Work
This 40,000-SF research building on the campus of historic Tuskegee University, is a state of the art technology facility focusing on biology and animal sciences. This LEED certified facility provides valuable research information to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Tuskegee’s Historic Research Program.
The space includes extensive lab and research areas. The Tuskegee University Agricultural Life Science Building is a two story science lab building with a basement. The basement contains mechanical and electrical equipment and storage for the maintenance staff. The first floor contains several science labs, supports labs, office space and classrooms. The building is constructed of steel and engineered studs. The exterior skin consist of brick veneer, split face block, metal panels and curtain wall windows. The special feature on the building is a unique round rotunda at the front of the entrance.
