Scope Of Work
The project is on a 75-acre site, across the road from the existing hospital campus. In addition to a 79-bed replacement hospital of 208,000 SF, the project included a 30,000 SF Women’s Center, the 17,000 SF Thompson Cancer Survival Center and 30,000 SF Physician’s Office Building.
The three-story hospital encompasses four operating rooms, an imaging and diagnostic center, a large emergency department to accommodate regional tourism, an ICU and step down unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a cardiology rehabilitation center, in addition to typical patient rooms.
LeConte Medical Center won the 2013 for the #1 Most Beautiful Hospital in America by Soliant Health. Soliant Health is one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the country.
