Scope Of Work
LADWP Jawbone SAG Pipes of the First Los Angeles Aqueduct – The project, originally constructed in 1912 using a 52 mule team hauling steel for Jawbone Siphon, involved the cleaning and cement mortar lining of approximately 6,315 lineal feet of 120” riveted steel pipe on very steep terrain up to 65% grades. The project was completed during a shut down period on a highly expedited schedule. LADWP permitted the project to be completed over two winter shut downs, however, LHWS completed all work easily during the first shutdown period, one year ahead of schedule.
