Scope Of Work
Problem
Salty air, summer rains, normal wear and tear, high concentration of chloride content within the concrete, and deferred maintenance led the concrete structure of this ocean front luxury resort to badly need repair. The balconies also experienced severe water damage and needed repair just as the concrete in both, the elevated parking garage and pedestrian walkways.
Solution
Full and partial depth repair to all walkways, balconies, and the parking
garage
Post-tension cables repair to the balconies and within the parking garage
Waterproofing membranes installation to all balconies and walkways to
protect the termination points of the post-tension cables
Traffic-bearing membrane addition to the garage surface
Repair of the vertical exterior and interior walls
