Scope Of Work

Construction is completed on the Westin Conference Center facility at Tarpon Point in Cape Coral, Florida. The $15 million facility features a 35,000 square foot ballroom that has the capacity to divide into six distinct meeting spaces and can accommodate up to 1,950 guests. Other features include a 4,700 square foot pre-function area, a 1,700 square foot terrace overlooking the Caloosahatchee River Estuary, state-of-the-art catering kitchen, office and storage space on the 2nd and 3rd floors, a paved parking lot, a timber pedestrian bridge and a porte cochere.

The Westin Conference Center was designed by Chris Lee of Christopher J. Lee Architects and the interior design was provided by Wegman Design Group. Construction was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. The Westin Conference Center is owned by Freeman & Hasselwander Resort Properties, LLC and will provide a much needed event facility for Lee County, bringing in over 15,000 visitors to the area, over $30 million dollars in revenue in the next three years and create over 33 full time jobs in the County.
