Scope Of Work

The Ione Junior High expansion required a major facelift. Portable classrooms were removed and replaced with an upgraded classroom wing that complements the landmark campus’ meticulously restored buildings from the Gold Rush era.

Working with a tight site plan, AMS collaborated with the District architect to integrate a two-story modular classroom building with restroom facilities and a site-built central multipurpose building with a distinctive clock tower. Unifying modular and design-built elements successfully blends the modern with the historical, giving the entire two-story addition a high-end custom look delivered on a modest budget.
