Scope Of Work
Brickens were contracted by Skanska USA to build a Con Edison Vault underneath and adjacent to The UN Security Council Building. Tagged as the most significant and critical of all the projects on the UN Campus at the time; Brickens completed this project within a very aggressive program schedule. This unique project involved months of planning. Security was of major concern for the client. Our 12 month schedule involved not disrupting daily peace negotiations within the Security Council Building; demolition and structural activities all had to be performed in an active underground Diplomatic Car Park. This Vault, upon completion of Electrical install, will power the iconic UN Secretariat Building.
