Scope Of Work

Bognet Construction, Old City Development Group, Cushman & Wakefield,
and PGN Architects have partnered to transform the historic Holzbeierlein
Bakery warehouse into a mixed use development in the heart of the bustling
Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC. The Adora will include the renovation of the existing bakery building into retail space on the street and underground levels, office space on the second and third levels, and the construction of nine residential units on the new fourth and penthouse levels. 

The notable building is undergoing a year-long renovation, involving elevator installation and building an internal steel structure to tie into the existing  brick facade. High-coordination areas of the project will include the shoring and underpinning of the current structure to allow for a smooth transition  to the interior work. The Shaw neighborhood will enjoy a vibrant mixed use development!
