Few projects require stricter adherence to construction timelines than public schools – missing the first day of the school term simply is not an option.

As the electrical contractor for the new Saginaw High School, JBI understood that the schedule would be aggressive. The school was set to open in time for the 2005 fall semester.

The timeline became more challenging after a series of weather events caused numerous construction delays. The sheer scope of the project was massive. The high school included three gymnasiums and a performance hall. The campus itself housed tennis courts, a field house with indoor practice facilities, and stadiums for football, softball, and baseball.

Despite the uncooperative weather and scale of the assignment, JBI and Hunt Construction successfully met the planned July completion date. Today, nearly 2,000 Rough Riders proudly call the campus home.
