Scope Of Work

The Palace Hotel is one of San Francisco's premium five star luxury hotels located in the heart of it's downtown financial district. In 2014, the hotel underwent a major renovation. The designer's vision was to keep the original architecture and hotel's authentic elements while pairing them with classic and modern decor. A fresh, contemporary look was requested. 

All new entry containers were provided by ASI Earth Walls in basic black was used as a bold contrast to the 120 years old grey exterior walls. White Azaleas at the main entry, the new floral color noted a stylish arrival. Globe Bowwood and Globe Ficus at the side entries softened the rigid square containers and answered the need for the requested contemporary appearance. With the high client demands of symmetrical and uniform plants, we decided to use ASI and Dura Art Stone containers paired with Ficus Trees and the hotel's signature white flowers as under planting. Our maintenance team continues to maintain the landscapes to this day.
