Scope Of Work
AFCO provided its value engineering and construction services to Monroe County for the construction of Murray E. Nelson Government and Cultural Center. As a result of AFCO's efforts the county was able to reduce the cost of the project by around $500,000.
The facility is a 32,000 square foot two story facility which will provide the upper keys residens with a much needed one-stop government services facility. It will provide the new home for law enforcement, local govermnent and the building department in the upper keys. Additionally, it will serve as a regional cultural center for the arts for the people of Monroe County.
