Scope Of Work
We are building this 1,470-foot long arch mono-truss pedestrian bridge that will connect the Bronzeville neighborhood to the Chicago lakefront and park system.
Work includes construction span over Metra and CN railroads and South Lake Shore Drive, which includes construction of retaining walls; removal and reconstruction of pedestrian paths, bike trails and sidewalks; roadway lighting relocation; and furnishing and installing lighting on the bridge structure. We are also relocating Metra power and communication lines; and doing restoration work on disturbed park areas.
