Scope Of Work
The Draftsman Hotel is a part of the Marriott Autograph boutique collection, with 150 keys and 90 above grade parking spaces. The project design consists of a 10-story building constructed over a slab-on-grade and subterranean basement. With a guestroom mix of King, Double Queen, and Suites, the hotel has accommodations for every type of traveler, including a restaurant on the ground floor, a penthouse level fitness center, and 4th floor meeting rooms. The design choices of the Draftsman, including lobby decor such as antique furnishings, are influenced by Thomas Jefferson and his home Monticello—located just outside of Charlottesville.
