Scope Of Work

The once abandoned area of the Miami Design District (MDD) has been transformed by Dacra, a real estate company known for its development of creative communities. MDD is now a vibrant neighborhood and shopping destination. Construction included the 11,670 square feet Hermès store – the signature store for the brand featuring its famous Duc carriage with horse logo brand at the top of the building parapet. The Tom Ford store, also built by Coastal, is almost 50,000 square feet and features a unique façade of GFRC panels which were designed by the New York design firm of Aranda/Lasch. Its specialty lighting was provided by Speirs & Majors of London. In addition, this phase of the MDD project included construction of a Cartier store – an 18,500 square-foot space which showcases the brand’s world renowned watches, perfumes and accessories. All three buildings include living roof gardens as a component to achieving LEED Certification.
