Scope Of Work
Construction of Bard College’s Reem/Kayden Center for Science and Computation, a dramatic curved structure housing laboratories, offices, and teaching facilities.
Building contains wet and dry laboratories, offices, classrooms, and an 80-seat egg-shaped auditorium.
Exterior features complex curtainwall geometry and custom metal cladding finishes.
Geothermic Heating and Cooling.
Enthalpy heat recovery wheels supplement the sustainable profile.
Modular bench-and-bollard system design for laboratories.
Construction of specialized areas for Zebrafish research, two environmental rooms, cognitive systems lab, NMR room, robotics room, computer teaching elliptical room, and a hardware research lab.
Four freestanding pods clad in copper, stainless steel, and zinc contain an auditorium, two lecture rooms, and a seminar room.
