Scope Of Work

Renovations to the facility included a new ideaLAB digital makerspace, upgrades to lighting, heating and ventilation, wireless connectivity and upgraded paint and furnishings. Technology plays a central role in the renovated library. The ideaLAB digital makerspace features a soundproof studio where guests can record music or voice recordings similar to professional music studios. 13 public access computers give access to the Internet and popular office software. A new elevator and an additional set of stairs have been added to offer access to the basement that will be home to future programs. The facility is now fully ADA compliant and enhancements have been made to address safety protections for customers and staff.
